Yoga, pranayam are all old techniques which were there but people have recognized its significance now only. One should give time from his busy schedule for yoga, pranayam , meditation. Sahaja yoga, Sivananda yoga have proven to be very effective.

Breakfast Helps In Lowering Cholesterol

Increased Cholesterol especially low density lipoproteins is a major cause of cardiovascular ( heart disease related) morbidity & mortality. If breakfast & diet is properly planned, it helps in lowering low density lipoproteins. This has been proven by research. Cardiologist & dietician will always advise to avoid oily foods, excess fat in diet. One should eat fish regularly as fish contains HDL Cholesterol which is good for heart. Fish reduces LDL Cholesterol. LDL Cholesterol is dangerous as far as cardiac disease & atherosclerosis is considered.

How to avoid excess cholesterol



1. While eating eggs, eat "white of egg & avoid yellow part". This advice is for people who are already fat. Growing children should eat egg as a whole because yellow part - yolk- contains a lot of vitamins.


Low calorie foods



Low calorie foods like- green vegetables,salad-tomatoes,cucumber will be very helpful.All of these will give a feeling of full stomach & prevents one from overeating high calorie foods
